Our founders Kaustav Das and Manish Arora have worked at venture-backed startups across India, Southeast Asia and USA and in B2B lending. With this experiences they know what it takes to build and grow a company, and they’re committed to helping founders retain their equity with non-dilutive capital, and access funding no matter geography. They’ve built a robust tech platform to do enable their ambitions of building true borderless capital.
Kaustav is the CEO at ECL. He has 20 years of experience in commercial lending at American Express and as Chief Risk Officer of venture-backed startups like Kabbage and Quadpay - where he helped many businesses to grow and scale. His vision is to eliminate the geographic disadvantages that founders face in scaling. He founded ECL to help do this by addressing two of these founders’ biggest challenges: access to capital and cost of capital.
Manish is the COO of ECL. He is driven by solving complex problems in a scalable manner, and innovating for fellow entrepreneurs. Manish has worked extensively in enterprise software, SaaS, fintech and regulatory tech - including as the General Manager of South Asia for PayJoy, a B2B SaaS fintech - where he set up the South Asia business from scratch and grew it into one of the most successful regions for the company.
